One of our favorite Master Jedi DJ's has created another hot Mixtape to party your ass off to. DJ Emir's new Batman Mixtape is simply amazing. Right from the start it goes all in like a Poker champ with 4 aces in his hand. The remixes on this mixtape are spot on and the overall mixtape and the integration of the Batman theme is flawless. This is a definite add to any party mixtape collection. I've been bumping it for the past Two weeks straight and it still delivers as if I were listening to it for the first time. With almost 50 songs on this epic mixtape, it is easy to see why it never gets old.

If you liked his previous mixtapes you will definitely love this one as well! To me this one is up there with the Iron Man Mixtape and The Transformers Mixtape both of which remain two of my favorite mixtapes of all time.

Jar Jar Binks Life Sized Sex Dolls Twitter Trending Topic

We were beginning to wonder what exactly started one of the strangest Star Wars Related massive trending topics on Twitter.com Jar Jar Binks, yes folks JAR JAR BINKS was one of the top trending topics to end Sunday night and start the discussions on Monday Morning. So we pondered what could possibly have started this. First thoughts, did he pass away? OK checked around, and no to our relief he is still alive and well. Whether you liked Jar Jar or not there is a human being behind that character and he is a very nice human being by the name of Ahmed Best who's twin brother Rapper Khalid Best who apparently (according to another article) went to prom with Lauryn Hill.

Jar Jar Binks

Many people did not like the character of Jar Jar Binks if only because he stole away too many scenes with too many antics, forgetting that when they were younger it was R2D2, Chewbacca and later the Ewoks that were a chunk of comical characters for the kids to enjoy. Jar Jar just had too many antics for the taste of a now grown up movie base that forgets the movies are also for the next generations as well. And kids loved Jar jar (the young ones) The actor that portrays Jar Jar Binks is actually a very talented young man by the name of Ahmed Best who also starred in Stomp the musical. If you play close attention you can see him playing other roles in Episode 2 as one of the council members disembarking from a transport with Obi Wan Kenobi (Played in the prequels by Ewan McGregor) and later on also featured in the bar scene having a drink in the background.

Well it's quite possible that the twitter trending topic was started because of either the new app that allows you to translate regular sentences into Jar Jar Binks speak or because of the following story about the life sized dolls being used as sex toys. The story came out in 1999 but was more recently reposted again ten years after it first came out as a Ten Year Anniversary series of articles written by the church. In this case they were basically calling the Life Sized Jar Jar Binks dolls a TOOL of THE DEVIL and a sexual play toy for both male and female Younglings.

There are also life sized versions of other characters that could easily serve similar sinister purposes

Members of The Landover Baptist Church are outraged at the Satanic subtlety in which marketing geniuses have moved this horrific abomination into the homes of America's youth. "One Mother was concerned that her young daughter was not interested in boys," a Pastor noted, "she asked her little girl, 'why don't you talk about the cute boys at school?' Her daughter replied, 'oh momma, nobody I know is cuter than Jar Jar Binks.' The mother was horrified."

Landover Baptist Church finds that the only way to resolve this problem is to ban not only life sized Jar Jar Binks dolls from American homes, but to ban any life sized doll. "Any child that has seen this movie is finding that their natural attraction to members of the opposite sex is being replaced with an attraction to a 7ft devil with elephant feet, a 25 inch tongue, polka dot skin, a fish snout, and two phallic eyes that jut out like hard erotic pokers. For the Love of God! If you've got this devil in your house, remove it as soon as possible!"

New Years Eve TV For Those That Spend New Years On the Couch

Is there any better place to spend New Year's Eve than sitting on your couch, flipping the channels and watching all the activity from Times Square?

The answer to this question is of course yes. But most of us will be within range of a television at some point on December 31, and could no doubt use a special edition of What2Watch to give advice on what will be happening. Don't mind if I do. In chronological order:

Notarized: Top 100 Videos of 2010 (BET, 11 a.m.): It's a fact: Every song released in 2010 was "featuring" either Ludacris, Nicki Minaj, or Lil' Wayne. If they ever teamed up, they could bring music to its knees.

Shake It Up New Year's (Disney, 6 p.m.): The channel recaps some of its viewers' favorite moments from the past year, and also takes the opportunity to promote a few of the 2011 coming attractions.

Anderson Cooper 360's All the Best, All the Worst 2010 (CNN, 8 p.m.): Tom Foreman and a lot of smart people talk about the year that we're putting to bed. I wonder if they will have the guts to mention CNN's ratings under "worst."

Live From Lincoln Center (PBS, 8:30 p.m.): The noisemakers here will be trumpets, cellos, and that kinda thing. The New York Philharmonic performs music from The Nutcracker (only 51 weeks till next Christmas!) as well as Tchaikovsky's first piano concerto.

Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest (ABC, 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.): This annual institution takes a half-hour break at 11 for the local news. Jenny McCarthy handles the street duties in Times Square, while Fergie covers the L.A. festivities assuming a mudslide hasn't covered everyone. Ke$ha and Train are among the performers, thus insuring that 2011 will get off to a ominously lame start.

Headline Country Year in Review (GAC, 10 p.m.): Recapping the biggest stories of the year in country music. Instead of lots of footage of Taylor Swift winning awards (her CD didn't come out till late in the year), we'll get footage of Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert winning awards. A step up.

New Year's Eve with Carson Daly (NBC, 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.): Another one that breaks at 11. It's a scientific fact that Daly's usual audience is made up exclusively of new parents who are awake feeding or changing a baby, so he's no doubt excited about getting this exposure.

Watch What Happens Live (Bravo, 10:30 p.m.): Ringmaster Andy Cohen acts like he's hosting a private party even during regular editions of his show, so things might get truly raucous here. Sandra Bernhard, who has been way too quiet lately, will be among the celebrants.

All American New Year (Fox News Channel, 11 p.m.): Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly will be anchoring from Times Square. Wouldn't you have thought Fox would want to go to "real America" instead of godless Manhattan? I know Branson is in the Central Time Zone, but couldn't they pretend? Katharine McPhee and Rick Springfield (!) are among the musical guests.

New Year. No Limits. (ESPN, 11 p.m.): The Worldwide Leader is again going the extreme sports route for New Year's Eve, as Levi LaVallee attempts to set a snowmobile jumping record in icy San Diego.

New Year's Eve Bash 2011 (MTV, 11 p.m.): Extremely naughty comedian Whitney Cummings will host, augmented by much of the cast of Jersey Shore. As you may have heard, Snooki Polizzi will be lowered into Times Square inside a specially constructed ball, so you might want to get any midnight kissing in before she ruins the mood.

New Year's Eve Live (Fox, 11 p.m.): There's going to be the expected coverage from Times Square, but Fox likes to do things a little differently, which is why host Nancy O'Dell will be stationed in Las Vegas. David Archuleta and Travie McCoy will bring the music.

New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin (CNN, 11 p.m.): Like doting parents who just can't stay mad at their wayward child, CNN has invited Griffin back to co-host their Times Square coverage despite her track record of saying impolite or even obscene things into an open mike. If you can hear the TV where you are, pay close attention. Cooper will try to keep her under control, and CNN correspondents around the country will describe what's going on where they are.

The most memorable movie lines require three things: They must sound like something a real person (or at least the character uttering them) would, you know, actually say; they must be smarter, funnier and snappier than what a real person would actually say (this sounds like it would contradict the first point, but it doesn't); and they must have a great actor to give them a great delivery. This year was packed with plenty of ear-pleasing, intensely quotable movie quotes, ranging from the highbrow ("The Social Network" and "True Grit") to the not-so-highbrow ("The Other Guys" and "Machete"). Grant McCune Star Wars Visual Effects Genius Has Died

Grant McCune The Effects Genius That Brought us R2D2 in Star wars Has Died

It's a sad day for the Rebel Alliance and Star Wars fans everywhere.

Grant McCune, the visual effects artist who brought such iconic characters as R2-D2 to life for 1977's Star Wars movie franchise has died from pancreatic cancer. He was 67.

McCune, who also appeared in Star Wars A new Hope as a Death Star gunner, won an Oscar for his work as part of George Lucas' visual effects team, an acheivement that sparked a several decade long career as one of Hollywood's top visual effects designers.

He earned a second Academy Award nomination for his work on 1980's Star Trek: The Motion Picture and went on to handle the visuals for blockbusters like Speed, Batman Forever and Spider-Man.

Internet Age Equals Instant Gratification Online But Yields Poor Results on Human Interactivity In the Real World

We live in an age where we have come to expect instant gratification in every level of our lives. We are accustomed to instant access to food, drink, and even our favorite TV programs. Instant access to books, newspapers, and information. Instant access to pretty much whatever we want when we want it. The problem with this is we don't realize that human emotions don't change as quickly as everything else in this world. Our high expectations for fast gratification make human interaction a little harder now.

People now hide behind their Internet persona, launching massive attacks on fellow human beings without really understanding the true consequences of their actions. They only think of their own quick gratification and never of the long term effects of their actions. Yes the Internet is great, and one can accomplish much in quick succession online, however it is important to remember that much of what we place on the Internet will also still be there in years to come. Exercising a little humility and high moral standards should be a prerequisite for moral online behavior.

Many people become online bullies in forums, chat rooms and game rooms because they feel the anonymity provides the perfect cover for being jerks. They think they can hide behind this anonymity and do whatever they please without facing any consequences. Unfortunately many times their interactivity in real life takes a quick nose dive as well. The bully often starts losng their ability to function and interact properly in real life situations with friends causing them to be viewed as jerks in general resulting in loss of friends, jobs and estranged family relations. Even the online bullying has consequences to both parties involved. The bully may not feel bad until much later, sometimes later in life sometimes just days later. The one bullied still feels the sting of the blade even though the point has been blunted slightly by it not being in person.

Hiding behind a thin cloak of anonymity sometimes fails, in which case the truly hateful things that have been said may come to light. Online bullies occasionally are found out and confronted in real life because of some of the hateful things they said about another online.

Whether online or in the real world people should treat others with dignity and respect. If you wouldn't say it to their face, you shouldn't say it online.

Why the Best Executives are So Highly Paid

The higher I have risen in my career, the more criticism and the more obstacles I have faced. In today's world, if you lay off an employee, fire someone, or make any other potential decision that upsets people, you will face incredible scrutiny. Former employees will go on blogs and criticize you and your leadership style. You will be attacked by many people. This is something that has happened to every leader and every organizer throughout the ages. The leaders of companies, organizations, and religions are subject to incredible criticism and attacks by virtue of the position they are in. In some countries, the leaders are assassinated. Anyone who organizes groups of men and women, whether it is a country, a religion, or a company, will face criticism and pressures that the average working man and woman simply do not face.

When you go to the worst neighborhoods in any city in America, you will find areas where there is rampant unemployment-people are living on the street, and where drugs, prostitution and murder rates are all high. The people you will find in these areas are those who are unable to follow orders and to successfully work for others, for the most part. They are people without jobs.

When you drive out of the ghetto, you will find average, middle class, and working class neighborhoods, where you will pass countless rows of houses, in which the televisions flicker each night. Inside each of these homes is a man who goes to an average job each day, follows orders, and gets paid. He lives much better than the man in the ghetto, and his ability to follow orders and work in an organized system is rewarded. He gets a roof over his head and a job that brings him a steady paycheck.

The better the area, the more likely you will find men who are incredibly skilled in following orders. And in addition to following orders, they are usually in positions where they are giving orders-and are highly skilled in doing this. The better middle class neighborhoods will contain doctors, lawyers, and other high level professionals who have gone to schools and learned to follow orders and procedures properly. These neighborhoods may also contain highly skilled laborers. The best neighborhoods will contain the upper level managers. Again we are talking about highly skilled people.

Then, in every city-as there has always been, you will find homes that are gigantic and have gates and other amenities that boggle the mind. These are the homes that are lived in by the wealthiest men. Some of these homes are so fantastic that the average man cannot even imagine setting foot inside them, much less living inside. These are typically not the homes of the men who follow orders, or are skilled in following orders. Instead, these are the men who are mostly skilled at giving orders, creating procedures, and getting incredible amounts of work done through hundreds, if not thousands of people. The most successful men or women become this way because of the amount of work they can accomplish, and often the number of people they can get to do all the work that needs to be done.

The man who shovels a ditch each day is only affecting the dirt in front of him. He is paid accordingly. The man who supervises a group of ditch diggers is paid more because he is able to ensure that more work gets done by a group. The man who manages the group that supervises the group of ditch diggers is paid even more. And so on. The more skilled the executive, the more he is able to control, and the more work he is able to get accomplished. This requires an understanding of people, the environment, and the economy, and it involves making numerous decisions and calculations whilst taking every factor into account each day.

One of the most fascinating questions that I have heard before is why do certain executives in major corporations earn so much money? When you see a large company like General Electric, Home Depot, Disney, Apple and so forth, you will generally find Chief Executive Officers who are earning millions and sometimes tens of millions of dollars per year. It may seem hard for you to believe that someone’s efforts are actually worth $50,000,000 a year; however, there is a reason these people are paid so much, which is very easy to see. Nevertheless, throughout my entire life I have heard numerous people complain about the high salaries that top level executives receive. These complaints keep up year after year, but the salaries of the top executives in big corporations never end up decreasing. Instead, they end up increasing every year. For example, a recent article in the Atlanta Business News relates:

Even as the U.S. economy suffered its worst downturn in decades last year, many of Georgia’s leading public companies pushed pay for their top executives higher.
Retired Coca-Cola chairman Neville Isdell had a total compensation package that topped $23 million.
Delta Air Lines CEO Richard Anderson ranked third in the AJC survey at $17.4 million.
Current Coca-Cola chairman Muhtar Kent has a total compensation package of more than $19 million.
Median pay for senior Georgia executives rose 3 percent in 2009 to $1.88 million, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution analysis of pay packages for more than 100 executives of Georgia’s 20 largest publicly owned companies.

Even politicians have gotten into the fray, trying to pass various laws limiting bonuses bankers and others can receive. There seems to be some real anger out there about paying high salaries to executives. A recent CNN story relates:

WASHINGTON (CNN) — One day after President Obama ripped Wall Street executives for their “shameful” decision to hand out $18 billion in bonuses in 2008, Congress may finally have had enough.
“You can’t use taxpayer money to pay out $18 billion in bonuses,” an angry Sen. Claire McCaskill says.

An angry U.S. senator introduced legislation Friday to cap compensation for employees of any company that accepts federal bailout money.

Why do the salaries of the top executives in various corporations keep rising despite the anger of politicians, bad economic conditions, and so forth? The reason this keeps occurring is mainly because exceptional executives are rare. The truly exceptional executive or corporate leader is someone that very few companies can locate. The exceptional executive has the ability to lead a company and its people, and can organize all the necessary resources to get things done. There are no schools that can effectively teach someone to be an exceptional leader, or how to organize resources and marshal them in an effective way. The skill of a great executive leader is something that is more innate than taught. The skill of a great leader and executive involves controlling things and people around them (like the ditch digger)-but often also controlling people, places, and things that may be thousands of miles away from them. Very few people have the ability to exert control beyond their immediate location.

The average worker and manager does not have the ability to do anything but control what is around them. A man can be a good salesman, for example, but inspiring an entire sales department and getting tons of salesmen to work productively for him, is an entirely different matter. It is for this reason that good salesmen rarely become good sales managers. It is even rarer that someone can control and inspire and make productive not just a sales department, but also an accounting department. It is even rarer that someone can do this for an entire company and all its many divisions. Rarer still is the person who can do this for an entire company, and then make his company a leader in its field.

Everyone in any company is generally under the supervision of an executive of some sort. The people’s job security, and the growth and survival of the company is dependent upon the decisions that the top level administrator is making. When companies fail, it is generally due to the skills of the executive (or lack thereof) and how the executive has organized (or has failed to organize) the resources of the company. If, under the direction of some executive, a company starts to perform poorly, there are many possible factors that might point towards the executive’s performance as a possible cause for the decline in productivity. For instance:

The executive may have people doing jobs that are unnecessary, and which do not in any way lead to the profitability of the company.
He or she may have too many people on staff to do various jobs.
He or she may be pursuing unprofitable lines of business and therefore wasting resources.
He or she may be making decisions about certain markets or business dealings that do not make any sense.
He or she may be engaging in graft, corruption, or other illegal activities that hurt the company in the long run.
He or she may be overpaying certain employees and underpaying others who deserve a higher salary.
He or she may not be organized enough to properly produce and deliver the company’s product or service.
He or she may not be hiring the right people.
He or she may not be inspiring employees to do good work.
He or she may be hiring the wrong people.
He or she may be paying too much for supplies and goods that the company buys.

There are thousands of small decisions relating to those above, which a good executive and corporate leader needs to consider on a daily basis. These are the sorts of decisions the highest paid executives make, and they are the sorts of decisions that can assist corporations in reaching their objectives. The better these sorts of decisions are made, the better the company or organization will do. These decisions are so important to an organization’s survival, and so few people are proficient in making them-it is no wonder why there are so few excellent executives. This also explains why many executives are hated and are unpopular for their decisions; each decision typically affects many people some way. And unfortunately not every decision can affect everybody in a positive or welcomed manner. When you are trying to be a good executive or leader, it is absolutely impossible to please everyone. The executive who tries to please everyone will always fail and take the company or organization right along with him.

A big debate in the United States has been and probably always will be healthcare. I remember during the Clinton Presidency, when Hillary Clinton tried to get universal healthcare pushed through. She failed and in a public statement I remember her saying something to the effect of “You cannot get anything done in Washington. These people are impossible to work with!”

While what she said may have had some truth to it, her job as a politician/executive/administrator was to do her very best to get others organized to accomplish her objective. The responsibility of an executive is to get things done, not to make excuses. The highest paid executives are able to implement and get things done; the lowest paid typically are not able to do this.

The survival of any company, or group, depends on having skilled administrators, who can get things done and keep the group going. A man like Saddam Hussein, for example, ultimately failed as an executive because he was unable to keep things going, and he ended up having his country invaded and taken over. A more skilled administrator would have done whatever was needed to keep the country operating and to keep himself in power. The Korean Dictator Kim Jong Il, despite being ridiculed internationally, has been able to keep his country going and to keep himself in power. This is a monumental achievement, which means that Kim Jong Il is more powerful and skilled than it might otherwise appear.

Countries that are conquered, companies that go out of business, and organizations that fail, usually do so due to having poor executives leading them, who make the wrong choices with the information and resources at their disposal. If all failures were simply due to a single ideology or strategy itself, then there would be no communist countries, no Nazi hate organizations, no military dictatorships and so forth. Organizations with unpopular ideologies will always exist. But what makes the organization ultimately fail or succeed is often the skill of the executive or executives leading it-over and above the particular ideology. Executive skill is more important than any ideology.

The ability of an executive or leader to administer the needs of a group is something that has controlled the growth of civilization. At a distant point in time, man was a “hunter-gatherer” species. Learning to domesticate animals and farm land, rotate crops, and so forth was a step in the ability to organize resources, and executive decision making abilities, albeit in their earliest form, became important. As people began working together, the ability of executives to lead people in their hunting, farming, and so forth became extremely important. Societies that became more organized, which were therefore able to farm more land and domesticate more animals, were able to grow. This allowed for the eventual development of cities, states, and countries. The most unsuccessful countries are those that are unable to organize their people and resources. Much of Africa, for example, has been characterized by this lack of organization.

The same ideas apply to a company. Larger companies have the ability to organize numerous people to accomplish common objectives. The best leaders typically lead the largest companies, and are able to do so by using their highly developed skills. They organize various sets of rules to get things done. Good executives will either make organizations survive under these rules, or they will not.

There is another point that bears mention and is quite important: When executives organize groups of people, whether in government or business, there are always going to be people who follow directions and rules, and those who simply cannot. In fact, the ability of people to live under an executive and to do things in the way the executive dictates (or does not), is something that determines the success or failure of most people in most organizations. Similarly, the ability of an executive to hand down rules and orders that are likely to be followed by subordinates, and to get the subordinates to follow these rules is in large part the measure of a successful executive.

Those who can lead groups typically are the highest paid people inside corporations and groups. Those who can best follow leaders, or outstanding executives, are typically the highest paid next to the top executives. The lower you move down the totem pole in any group, the more you will find that they have more and more difficulty following orders. When you go out on the street and see the chronically unemployed you will generally find people who have severe problems following orders. The survival and prosperity of a group of people depends on having people who can give good orders-and have them carried out by those who are able and willing to follow good orders.

When I interview young people out of college, they often talk about wanting a job with independence. Independence is a good thing and I am not being critical of this desire. However, most people come under some sort of administration in every job, and they do need to follow orders, which come down from someone who is higher up. The ability to follow orders and live within the parameters of rules set down by executives is the hallmark of any great employee or department. It is for this reason that you will generally find the larger and more successful the organization, the more rules there are. A franchise, for example, is generally successful when it expands, because the franchisees are all required to follow numerous rules in how they operate the business-and these rules are strongly enforced. If a McDonald’s restaurant suddenly decided that they wanted to get a liquor license and start serving mixed drinks, you had better believe that the corporate office would shut the restaurant down in a real hurry. The survival of McDonald’s as a franchise is largely dependent upon and due to all the rules it requires its franchisees to follow.

A large part of the tension in society is between those who are executives, who are managing the system(s), and those who are not. However, almost all people want to feel part of a system, and like they are contributing. Everybody wants to feel that they have a role in what is being created and accomplished. It is for this reason that when you see people on welfare, for example, there is an incredible amount of unhappiness. These people are simply being governed by administrative orders and pronouncements over which they have no control. They are not allowed to contribute. Similarly, the spoiled son of the wealthy man who does not have to work is typically a mess as well. The person who is retired also lacks the ability to contribute.

When a person cannot work under executives, he or she typically has a very difficult life. Furthermore, if the same person does not have the ability to be an administrator on some level, his or her career and life are often even more difficult.

Most people choose to conform, and do not confront the pain involved in being a high level executive. Powerful executives are often ridiculed in public and are attacked by those who have lost jobs, or those who are unhappy with a company’s performance. The executive’s actions are questioned time and time again. The executive’s exploits are followed by the news media. Opposite of this is the life of someone who is afraid of criticism and who does what everyone else is doing, following the crowd at all times. There are countless reasons people do not want to be high level executives in charge of ordering people about, creating rules, and running an organization. There are also countless reasons people are not interested in being subjected to an executive, or the given orders of a company. However, life is dependent upon this ability, and so is having a career. The truth is that you either learn to live under an executive and take orders, or you learn to lead. This is the order of the world.

This is the reason that the best executives are so highly paid. There are simply very few people who have the capacity or ability to organize people, increase productivity and profitability, all while facing criticism and driving a company forward.

The Long Awaited Sequel to Star Wars Force Unleashed

With his death, Starkiller robbed Vader of the opportunity to destroy the Emperor, and most importantly, gave rise to the Rebellion. But, waking up in shackles on the planet of Kamino, Starkiller has only fragments of memories of his past life. Told by Darth Vader that he is merely a tool, a clone that Vader will use to gain control of the Empire, Starkiller escapes and sets out to learn the secrets of his past.

Darth Vader's Apprentice "Starkiller"(played by Sam Witwer) returns in this epic battle of Jedi Vs Sith. Yes we know he supposedly died in Star wars The Force Unleashed. That is why the game starts on the cloning planet of Kamino where Darth Vader has been attempting to create a powerful Sith Clone of his Apprentice but this time without the "weaknesses" as Vader Puts it of his previous Apprentice. Vader is has a hard time eliminating Starkiller's feelings for his friends and companions especially the strong feelings he has for Juno (his former pilot and love) When Starkiller fails to kill a Holographic image of Juno thus failing Vaders test he gets a flashback of Vader Stabbing him (or rather the predecessor he was cloned from) in the back with a light saber. With the quick realization that Vader is about to repeat history he quickly reacts and escapes starting a new epic adventure as he races to save his former allies, and his love Juno.

The Game features the apprentice now wielding dual lightsabers and also has some new abilities and force combos. Starkiller is even more powerful than before capable of dispatching Tie Fighters a whole lot faster and more efficiently by either grabbing and crushing them or lightning striking them down. The control on the game is much more precise than before allowing you to aim your force powers, to catch projectiles and missles out of the sky and redirect them back at your enemies. And this game features a Force Storm Fury that supercharges all your powers to extreme levels to help you eliminate even the most stuburn of your enemies.

With new enemies, new styles of combat and new combos this game is extremely addicting. There are also some great chalenges that are fun to undertake and help you hone your skills. The Combo challenge is quite difficult to master in the time alloted but we eventually were able to defeat this challenge as well as all the others. Even though technically speaking the challenges supposedly come from Darth vader's training of Starkiller, as always some of the challenges are easier to complete with higher scores as your character gets stronger throughout the campaign. So going back to the challenges later will also help.

The story line on the game is almost as good as it's predecessor (which won several awards for it's story line) and the ending still keeps with the original Star Wars movies. The game seems like it might be a little shorter than the Original Force Unleashed Game but that's probably because there are less planets / levels and less boss fights. But there are many more minor bosses and each planet / space ship / level is extremely long and full of action. The creative use of force powers necessary to complete the game make it more interactive which combined with the acrobatics and game play make for a great game.

Star Wars Force Unleashed Finally Gets Bugs Fixed

After Months of Putting The game away and in anticipation of the New Star Wars Forced Unleashed 2 Video Game release we pulled out our Star Wars Force Unleashed video game and noticed they had an update packet download available that took care of a few glitches the game originally had. The glitch fix that made us happiest was the fix for the Holocron Hunter achievement and the Holocron Count on the final level, which finally allowed us to finish this achievent on Our Xbox 360 consoles. We had previously played that level over and over figuring we must have missed a Sith / Jedi holocron only to find out that it was a glitch in the game that was keeping us from achieving the goal of finding all the holocrons. We had found them all, the game simply didn't count the last one.

We did have a great time finishing the game on it's hardest setting, Sith Master. I must admit defeating Emperor Palpatine on this setting was extremely difficult even though our attacks were much more refined this time around. Patience and good counter attacks are the key. It helps to also defeat his guards quickly without taking damage by utilizing the force shield on the edge of the game to slam them into. Basicaly position yourself to attack them and bounce them onto the force shield walls for maximum damage and a much faster and safer way of defeating them quickly before focusing back onto the Emperor himself.

We of course immediately followed the next day by picking up our advanced copy of Star wars The Force Unleashed 2 and finishing that game as well but we'll leave that for the next posting. :)

DJ AM, top mashup and nightclub DJ passed away in New York. Too soon to tell of what. Story still developing.

Cops tell us DJ AM -- also known as Adam Goldstein -- was found dead this afternoon in New York City.Law enforcement sources tell us he was found in his apartment at around 5:20 PM.We're told DJ AM had not been seen or heard from for a few days. We're told one of his friends went to check on him, but got no response after knocking on his apartment door. We're told the friend called the police, who broke down the door and then found DJ AM's body.Back in September of 2008, DJ AM and Travis Barker survived a plane crash in South Carolina. Four people died in the crash -- which was caused when the airplane aborted takeoff and then ran off the runway. DJ AM and Barker were the only survivors.

When I first learned Michael Jackson died I was in total disbelief, I wanted it to not be true. A bad rumor perhaps started on the internet by several bad jokers. Afterall these days it only takes One twitter post to start a rumor circulating around the world faster than the 28 days virus. But alas as more and more people began confirming it I became sad knowing that One of the worlds greatest entertainers and humanitarians had passed away. I also became even sadder thinking about all the suffering he had endured in the past few years. The accusations, people trying to auction off his estate belongings which he carefully collected over the course of his lifetime. His inability to go out in public without being swamped. It's no wonder he could not sleep and eventually suffered a heart attack.

Within hours music artists and DJs around the world began cranking out tribute songs and mixtape tributes dedicated to Michael Jackson. Of note the Cooking with Soul Michael Jackson Tribute, The song Better On The Other Side featuring The Game, Chris Brown, Diddy, Usher, Mario Winans, Boyz2Men and several other artists and the extremely well put together "Badder Than Bad" Michael Jackson Mixtape tribute by DJ Emir.

First I have to say I've listened to many of the mixtapes that have flooded the internet since Michael Jackson's passing. Many should have never been created. The Cooking Soul Mixtape was the First Michael Jackson Mixtape that I liked.
Out of all the mixtapes I listened to only a few were worthy MJ Tributes. One of the worthy mixtape tributes is the Cooking Soul Michael Jackson Mixtape available at www.cookinsoul.com/ or Click here to download these boys put together a fairly nice collection of remixes and blends featuring new artists meshed in with Michael Jackson hits to create new mixes of Michael's greatest hits, consequently many DJs ended up using some of these remixes to mix their own mixtapes. There were a few good remixes on the cooking soul mixtape. In particular The "Bad remix was semi hot with Ludacris lacing the track, and the Smooth Criminal remix featuring 2pac was a hot one, as was the Nas laced remix of "You Rock My World" The Eminem laced remix of "Black or White" and the "Rock With You" remix featuring Biggie smalls.

Unfortunately a few of the other remixes weren't quite up to spec on the Cooking Soul Mixtape specifically the 50 Cent remix of Remember the time which I felt was really weak. Also while I did think the "Beat It" remix featuring Kid Cudi's Day and night worked together we couldn't help but think "shouldn't Day and night be mixed with Michael Jackson "Day and Night", even if it was over the "Beat It" beat?" But hey that's why I'm a CRITIC right?

Overall there are a few great mixes to listen to on the Cooking Soul Mixtape, but damn it is a short one and after one or two listens I just wan't to skip to my favorite tracks. MTV made a big deal of this mixtape, and some of the remixes were deserving of this praise. Overall it is a good creative mixtape that is worth checking out If you haven't already.

By far my favorite mixtape tribute to Michael Jackson is the
Badder Than Bad Mixtape Tribute by DJ Emir.

DJ Emir's Tribute starts out ultra hard and never lets up. His remix of Michael Jackson's Bad is very cleanly executed, and the way he cuts up Michael Jackson's vocals over the instrumental is just top notch. As soon as I heard the first track of this mixtape I knew I was in for a real treat. Emir's mixtapes have always been entertaining from start to finish and this one was no exception. I was extremely impressed with the way Emir cut up the track on "Rock With You" "Bad" and on "Dancing Machine"

I was very impressed with the mixes in the middle section of the mixtape, especially the Reggae remixes of the Jackson 5's hit "I Wan't You Back", The Remix of "They Don't Care About Us" The Black or White Remixes and the Your Rock my world Remix over the Blame it on the Alcohol beat and over the Paper Planes beat.

I also liked the fact that Emir included songs from the early days of Hip Hop that sampled Michael Jackson Tracks in particular Tupac's "Letter to My Unborn Child" and the dope transition Emir created to get from the much slower MCLyt and Xscape song "Keep On Keeping On" into Michael Jackson's "Liberian Girl" (which both songs had sampled)
I was also feeling Emir's Remix of Method Man's P.L.O. Style over the "Bad Instrumental and how he transitioned it and kept P.L.O. Style going over "Smooth Criminal" before going into Michaels verse.

The creativity and diversity of music is superb on DJ Emir's "Badder Than Bad" mixtape. It adds a contemporary feel to Michael Jackson's music, the songs that work as party hits remain in their original format with just a little added DJ flair here and there. The songs that would probably clear a dance floor in the club were remixed well to give them a more upbeat party vibe. And while Michael's Passing was tragic Emir seems to have decided to essentially mourn Michael's passing by creating a celebration of Michael's life and music rather than mourn the loss through countless tears. I can imagine Emir would have to have been sad during some parts of making this mixtape because he really did a thorough job of representing Michael Jackson's entire life's work and put some serious work into this mixtape. The mixes flow well from the start of the mixtape til it's end at 79:54 almost an entire 80 minute mix without me feeling like I had to forward through any songs It was that good.

Badder Than Bad is the absolute best Michael Jackson Mixtape Tribute on the planet. Overall the mixtape is sensational with over 50 tracks of the best Michael Jackson songs, remixes and exclusive blends, as well as carefully selected songs that either sampled Michael Jackson to create their beats like Jay-Z's H to The I.Z.Z.O. and Nas' It Aint Hard to Tell or were used by Emir to blend in and remix Michael Jackson over more contemporary songs like he Did over Feli Fel, Sean Paul and Pitbulls "Feel It" which by the way had to be the hardest Remix of "Bad" I have ever heard. That is probably the reason Emir labeled his remix "Badder Than Bad" and consequently why Emir's mixtape tribute is also called "Badder than Bad" This is an appropriate name for Emir's "Tribute to the Greatest of All Time" since his mixtape is hard as hell.

DJ Emir's Badder than Bad Mixtape is a perfect 10 in my opinion and is probably the One Michael Jackson Mixtape everyone should have in their collection. I can't praise this mixtape enough and I highly recommend this mixtape to everyone whether young or old cause I think this mixtape will appeal to everyone

Incredible Star wars Empire Strikes Back Hoth Rebel Base Diorama
There must have been a shortage on White Lego blocks the year this was built. I Can Imagine it now "I'm sorry Sir we have no more White Lego blocks, might we interest you in some Red Ones at a discount?"

The Painstaking amount of work and detail that went into this amazing Lego Diorama is just insane. Mark Borlase created a 5 foot by 10 foot Star Wars Hoth diorama using LEGO. The display took over 4 years and $3000 to create, and consists of over 55,000 pieces, 50 real LED lights and a remote controled mechanism which deploys troops from the AT-ATs. All the lights are controlled by 1-9v train regulator and the doors are controlled by a second 9v regulator. The diorama won the recent Star Wars LEGO creation challenge and will be featured in the official LEGO magazine. The photos below show the Sick bay with custom medical droid and bacta tank, a complete interior view of Echo base. You can see Chewie is doing some last minute welding work on the Millennium Falcon, as well as a custom gantry for the mechanics to work on the X-wings, complete with overhead and runway lighting.

You Can Even See the detail of the Storm Troopers and Ice Troopers as they walk across the frozen tundra on their way to attack the Rebel base!

Ludacris Gearing Up For New Album Releases Mixtape First

Ludacris is currently gearing up for his new album but before the release, the DTP leader will drop a “Gangsta Grillz” mixtape with DJ Drama.

MTV News talked to both about the upcoming project. After a hiatus, Luda still feels that he is on top of his game.

“I feel there is no rap style I cannot do,” ‘Luda said in Atlanta, standing next to DJ Drama during a round of pool. “Unlimited amounts of ways I can come on the microphone. I feel like I’m the best doing the damn thing.

Cris and Drama are putting the finishing touches on the new mixtape “The Preview”.

“Album number six is on the way. It’s called Theater of the Mind,” Luda said. “So with that said, we got the mixtape, The Preview — the preview to the damn movie. It’s all about lyrical exercise. I been gone, opening up a restaurant [in Atlanta], doing a couple of movies here and there, just a little bit of everything. It’s time to get back in the music game. It’s been a long time, but we back on that ass.”

“You gonna get a mixture of freestyles, new songs, snippets from Theater of the Mind, [past] songs where samples couldn’t clear and make the album, but they still crazy-ass records. And me and Barack O’Drama talking a gang of sh*t. It’s as simple as that,” Luda added.

“The first-ever Luda/ DJ Drama Gangsta Grillz!” Drama jumped in. “This sh*t is history. It’s the preview, the coming attractions. Get your popcorn. This time, [the production of the tape] worked out through the conversation. Luda already had the concept of the tape, it being the preview … for the Theater of the Mind. When I heard [the word] ‘preview,’ my mind started immediately racing of how we should put it together. I said, ‘Every beat, everything you get on has to be a movie.’ On the microphone, he’s already a monster, so it’s kind of an easy thing. I like to give everything a beginning, middle and end. With a concept like The Preview, ['Cris] kinda made it too easy.”

In the end Ludacris revealed some album details.

"Just as the name implies, the album is theatrical," he revealed. "Conceptual-wise, every song you hear plays out like a scene from the movie. Whether it's storytelling, me giving you the real of what's going on in the world, you gotta look at it as your imagination is gonna run wild every song you hear."

The Force Unleashed Just seems to Keep Getting Better and Better

The Force unleashed is scheduled to be released September 16th 2008
and as the release date gets closer more and more updates to the Force unleashed website
keep coming out. One of the updates is the new trailer for the video game. The plot, the story and the game play all look even hotter than the previous trailers. Even the little annimation of the Lucas Arts Logo made me cringe with excitement. In the trailer we see Darth Vaders mystery apprentice being knighted a Sith by Darth Vader and then being sent out to carry out his masters orders. But as all sentient biengs he is of course influenced by all the people he encounters and becomes conflicted in his feelings. His loyalty to Vader changes and of course a confontration with the Dark Lords of the Sith will have to be in his future.

The Game play looks exremely smooth and the players force powers look even strobger than the previous trailer. This is starting to look like a possible game of the year winner, but of course only time will tell.

Quite possibly the best Video Game Release scheduled for 2008. The story takes place during the ultra dark times between Episode 3 of the Prequels and Episode 4 the first of the original films. It is said that once you play this game and experience the story you can never again imagine Star Wars without this part of the story. It is During these times Darth Vader trains his own apprentice in secret to help him hunt down the remaining Jedi and also secretly prepare to overthrow the emperor and take his place as the new ruler of the universe. As always Lucas Arts is pushing the envelope with new technologies, new animation techniques. With these new technologies enemies you send flying across the room or force to fall from heights react to their environment. They will try to grab objects and each other in attempts to save or preserve their lives and those of their comrades, objects in the environment will take their motions and their weight into consideration. So, as illustrated on Lucas arts website a broken beam will react to a storm trooper grabbing onto it with weight and movement by breaking further or collapsing under the new extra strain. The wood will splinter according to where and how it is being stressed and everything will react to the other objects or characters in the scene accordingly. This brings new realism to the new consoles and creates a game that will react differently to your game play in accordance with all elements of the scenery. For the fans what really makes this game one everyone will want to play is that they are also pushing the limits of what we think of when it comes to the force. The force unleashed says it all.

In this story the main character Darth Vader's secret apprentice unleashes the force with almost reckless abandon. So strong in the force and so willing to use it for attack and defense that he can take down an entire Star destroyer as you can view in the Trailer clip on Lucas arts website. We see the force used in combinations and to the extreme, almost out of control, Force pushes not just slamming enemies against a wall but sending enemies right through the walls, Lightning attacks combined with Chokes lifting then slamming the enemies bodies down while struck by lightning to explode the enemies as if they were grenades. Master Yoda would not approve of this use of force, but there in lies the easier path, the lure of the darkside.

In Unleashed, players will take on the persona of Vader's (as-yet unnamed) dark apprentice. You could, for instance, drive your lightsaber into the ground and release a torrential repulsion shockwave that flings a ring of surrounding enemies in all directions, only to catch one in a vice-grip in mid-air. Pummel your newfound target with a few bolts of Force lightning, and you've got yourself a charged bomb that you can then 'forcibly' push into another group of enemies, dispelling all of them with a single human explosion.

If you Guys want real progress you have to go after it yourself.
You can't sit back and wait for the Denver Post, channel 9 news, Fox news etc to decide they want to do a story about Denver's Hip Hop scene and then complain about it. You have to be the ones banging down their doors incistently til some one writes the story you want written. I have hung out with a few of the hot local DJs, DJ Big Spade, DJ Emir, DJ Chonz etc... and I have seen some local cats trying to sell their CDs To these DJs and they always say "look I'm DJ this or that I play at all the clubs in town and also make mixtapes that travel around the world etc... If you really want to do yourself a favor just hook me up with one of those CDs, I'll even trade you a CD for a Mixtape."

Believe it or not Half these local artists wont even do a trade "I can only let it go for "5 bucks"
"Oh I don't want that I Just want 5 bucks"

What? Are you serious? Come on now, I've seen the local DJs hand out CDs like they're tic tacs, The Radio Bums once handed out over 10,000 cds at summer jam, and I know DJ Emir has done several thousand at a few events as well. It's about promoting yourself virally. The DJs market themselves better than the local artists do!

If 10,000 people are out there listening to your CD there are at least 30,000-70,000 or more that are hearing it and feeling it. And out of that bunch there might be one that has the connection needed to launch you to the next level.

Even main artists like Akon, Ludacris and Young Jeezy all send out thousands of free CDs trying to get the word out on the streets and also into the right hands. Now if you have the opportunity to hand it directly to some of the larger DJ's in town and instead you get greedy and think "I'm the man... these DJ's should be buying my shit" then you truely are an idiot, you don't deserve to be heard and because of your attitude you most likely will never be heard.

And as far as being a purist talking about "That's not Hip Hop, blah, blah, this is not Hip Hop" wake up! It's all hip hop. Yeah most of the stuff that gets played on the radio doesn't have the lyrical depth that some of the previous eras had like Pete Rock CL Smooth Reminisce or Das- EFX, Guru, Daddy Kane, Grand Puba, etc... but it's now more of a fast food industry, they serve up a formula they can make and sell quickly and cheaply. There are good lyrics still out there and yet most of the public still eats up the crap.

It's the same as fast food. You have good Filet Mingnon, Lobster and steak But most of us eat Mcdonalds, Taco bell and Wendy's more often... we don't have the time to eat and digest the the richer foods, same goes for Hip Hop most people don't take the time to digest the complex lyrics and lyrical styles they want songs they can easily sing along to that's just the nature of the game.

Hip Hop is a broad term, a way of life that encompases B-Boying, Emceeing, Deejaying, Urban Fashion and Graffiti. as KRS One stated "Rap is something you do Hip Hop Is something you live" Hip Hop is like a huge university, you can have smaller colleges within the university, so Crunk can be considered a college within the university of Hip Hop as can East Coast and West Coast etc... Dissin any particulasr category just says you want to hold back progress, Your trying to hold back evolution. As one genre will eventually breed another genre and eventually we will have expanded to where new styles emerge that perhaps you do like.

A ton of the newer Commercial Hip Hop like your Kanye "Stronger" and your Timberland "The Way I Are" seam to be taking sounds and styles from the Techno genre to create new dancefloor Hip Hop hits. It's called evolution. I'm going to be honest here and just say this... Many Denver local beats haven't evolved, I have been hearing similar stuff from local emcees for about 10 years now. I guess that's just the "Denver Sound" but it just seems like no one travels or links up with other scenes to expand their abilities and their sound. There have only been a few that have stood out. One of them (The Funkologist) has moved to California for the time being, the rest have made it onto a few DJ Mixtapes.

I used to like underground Hip Hop music more than the commercial stuff because it had better beats and better lyrics, truth is these days the commercial stuff has better production behind it. The underground beats have been weaker in the later years. They all sound outdated and either lack innovation or sophistication in their execution.

If you can't make at least a few Dancable hits then most likely you will never make it out the basement, cause no self respecting DJ is going to be able to help break a record that has no potential. You can have a back packish sound for all your stuff but you still need something that gets your foot in the door. And your back packish stuff should still be hot not just mediocre. Take a listen to a few tracks by Helter Skelter and Smiff n Wesson and you'll hear some cool lyrics mixed with some hot beats, yet even they didn't really get pushed hard enough to make it huge. But the thing is you need both lyrics and beats as well as a good concept for each song. Think localy and you won't make it. Think global and you might just make a big enough splash.

Wayans wants to dress customers in 14 kinds of attire from tops to bottoms, and use the controversial mark on 'clothing, books, music and general merchandise,' as well as movies, TV and the internet, according to his applications.

But, so far, his applications have been unsuccessful. Trademark examiner Kelly Boulton rejected the registration dated Dec. 22, citing a law that prohibits marks that are 'immoral or scandalous.' A previous attempt by Wayans was turned down on identical grounds six months earlier.

'While debate exists about in-group uses of the term, 'nigga' is almost universally understood to be derogatory,' Boulton wrote to Wayans' attorney, William H. Cox, according to the application.

Cox and other representatives of the actor did not respond to interview requests about the registration.

Wayans can appeal the rejection, but experts in trademark law differ on his chances for success.

Lynda Zadra-Symes, a trademark lawyer in California, said Wayans may be successful. She compared 'Nigga' to the successful registration of Dykes on Bikes. The San Francisco Women's Motorcycle Contingent fought the Trademark Office for three years to overturn an initial rejection of a Dykes on Bikes trademark. The mark was published Jan. 24.

'Because the application was by a group of lesbians it was eventually allowed to publish,' Zadra-Symes said.

'This is a great victory,' the group proclaimed on its website. 'It affirms our right to determine w"

Star Wars - Battle of The Discrepencies

What's up with all the plot holes and discrepencies between all the movies?
Is it not possible to do a mental check when writing scripts?
I must say I was impressed with Episode 3 as a return to the darker side of the Star Wars Saga. But really, Could not episode 1 and episode 2 been combined into 1 movie
so we could see more of the clone wars in a non animated version?

But here's the list of problematic story lines:

In Episode 3 Revenge of The Sith Luke and Lea's mom dies right after they are born
In Episode 6 Luke asks Lea if she remembers her mother- Her Real Mother to which she answers "Bits and pieces she died when I was really young" I'll say she did. LOL (or truely sad really)
Vader has princess Leah in his possesion but cannot for the life of him sense her powerful connection to the force whether latent or not it still should be sensed. Especially if he can sense that from Luke when he's 200 feet away in seperate space fighter ships. Had he sensed this he'd have tried to turn her to the darkside.

There's more but I'll have to relook at the movies before coming back to this section

I'm also always left disapointed when I watch a Jedi Go out like a sucker the way they all did in episode 3. I mean where's the clarivoyance? Where are the Jedi Senses? Where are the Jedi Defense Skills? Where's the Force Wave and the the Jedi Mind Tricks?

So much in their arsenal and instead they went out like suckers. We hear about how powerful Jedi are, the original trilogy made luke look very weak. I always thought this after all master yoda wouldn't have a problem defeating a Rancor and neither would the older Vader. Use the force sweep it off it's feet, make it choke, Force wave etc... Suspend it in the air as you use the force to open the gate etc... Luke doesn't use his head (too old when he began training)

Yes they were caught by surprise by the sudden change of alliance of their troops but still they should sense the intentions and the danger the second it happens. They should still give each one a good fight before going out. Hell they should be able to at least take out as many troopers as little dude padawan learner did at the Jedi Temple. and had the kid been smart he'd have kept taking out their ankles and finished the job so he could survive as well.

The Two Clone Wars Animated Series DVDs
do what the movies didn't- They showed the true potential of what a jedi and what a sith could do in dire situations and in battle. Their cunning their abilities etc...
I'm seeing alot of the same... Jedi's who just think with their lightsabres why did several jedi including a master have problems defeating General Grevious when Master Windu simply chose to use the force to Crush in His Chest Plate and Master Obi Won simply used force wave to slam him into a wall? Are Jedi really mindless creatures that crack under pressure?

The Video Games Give a Much Deeper Look
Into the Star Wars universe than the movies ever could. The Video Games like Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic (One and Two) Show what a Jedi is truely capable of doing. Just how difficult it may be to go against a Jedi.

But the games brought about another frustration, Why would the Jedi only have 11 forms? Thats crazy- In Shaolin By Brown belt alone were already at over 30 forms. Black Belts have over 40 forms, Second Blacks and above could well have over 100 forms in their repertoir. And the Grand Master over 900 Fighting Forms each one much more sophisticated and deceptive than the straight forward fighting forms the jedi learned in the game. Granted it's a game but it could have been "These are the forms we have time to teach you."

I know Lucas Borrowed alot from the Shaolin Monks. That was one of my theories due to the massive similarities: The Sacking of the Temple and Destruction of all the Monks Save 5 that escaped to rebuild the Shaolin Order again. The CHI (The Shaolin Equivilant of the Force) Which allows a regular human to become more than that. Iron Bone training and Chi together allow them to sustain greater blows and achieve almost super human feats of strength and speed. The Degree of skill and the ability to take on legions of troops armed with less sophisticated weapons. History has it that 13 monks armed with just their double ended staff were able to defeat and hold back a whole legion of troops.

My theories on the similarities between Jedi and Shaolin Monks were later verified by the Documentary The Science of Star Wars Which ended up having a huge section devoted to the Shaolin Monks and how Lucas used them as a basis for the theory of the Jedi Peaceful but effective warriors.

With Christmas Eve just hours away, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, better known as NORAD, continues preparations for tracking that jolliest of elves, Santa Claus. A test conducted on November 27th tracked Mr. Kringle from the North Pole to Hollywood, California for the annual Hollywood Christmas Parade.

NORAD is the bi-national U.S.-Canadian military organization responsible for aerospace defense in the two nations. NORAD was created by a 1958 agreement between the Canada and the U.S. NORAD has been tracking Santa's movements on Christmas even since that time, continuing the task started by it's predecessor, the Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD). This is the 50th year of this operation. The operation is based on a robust network of radar and satellites as well as Santa Cams and jet fighter aircraft. When the radar systems detect liftoff, satellites floating 22,300 miles overhead in a geo-synchronous orbit begin their job. These satellites track infrared heat signatures, most often generated by rockets and aircraft, or in the case of Santa's sleigh, his team leader, Rudolph, because of his glowing red nose. The third system used is the high-speed digital camera network called Santa Cam.

The camera network, added in 1998, are prepositioned at various strategic points around the globe in an effort to track the movements of Santa and his team. Finally, one of NORAD's most effective tools in its mission, the squads of CF-18 fighter jets will intercept and fly escort with Santa once he hit's Canadian air space. The fighters take off from Newfoundland and various pilots will be able to escort Santa and his legendary team of reindeer, include Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph. This advanced system is maintained throughout the year in preparation of this one day. This year, NORAD has a number of sponsors, including Windows Live Local, AOL, AGI, Island Web Studios, ICG, MCI, Akamai, Globelink, ClearCube and the Macerich Company. All these organizations assist in keeping the network ready and to allow people the ability to get updates by phone and through the Internet.

Some of the starts include John Schneider of Smallville, Patrick Warburton, better known as Kronk, the LAPD, Mickey and Jan Rooney as well many others. I personally felt the Jedi should have sensed the betrayal as it was happening... More like how Master Yoda had. Basically I felt they should have each lasted a few minutes longer and only have gone out in a blaze of glory due to overwhelming forces. Only one or two of them went out that way and I felt many of the others got punked on their way out. They just had no clue. Where was the force, when they got taken out. I did like the Godfather like feel to these scenes just felt the Jedi would have put up more of a fight in these scenes. But lets here from the rest of you. Post away your comments below...

Holy Sith, what a huge opening! 'Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith' surpassed even the highest expectations and shattered box office records in its opening weekend, grossing $108.5 million over the Friday-to-Sunday weekend and an unbelievable $158.5 million since hitting theaters last Thursday, according to studio estimates.

From the first minute the final 'Star Wars' installment began unspooling, at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, it was historic. In its first 24 hours, it grossed $50 million, becoming the only film ever to do so. Its four-day tally tops the previous record-holder, 'The Matrix Reloaded,' which premiered with $134.3 million two years ago. It also blew away the four-day openings of the first two 'Star Wars' prequels, which earned $105.7 million and $110.2 million, respectively. It was certainly helped by its larger theater count (it played in 3,661 theaters nationwide, compared with 3,161 for 'Attack of the Clones'), but its per-theater average was also considerably higher than those of the other prequels. 'Sith' also became only the third film to pass the $100 million mark in its third day of release, after 'Spider-Man' and 'Reloaded.' Plus, it grossed $144.7 million internationally, bringing its worldwide four-day total to an unheard-of $303.2 million.

Meanwhile, 'Monster-in-Law' slipped 38 percent to second place with $14.4 million in its second weekend, followed by 'Kicking and Screaming,' which fell 48 percent to $10.5 million. The ensemble drama 'Crash' continued its strong hold, down only 22 percent to $5.5 million, while 'Unleashed' plummeted 65 percent to $3.9 million. The Force apparently couldn't be with everyone.

...It is she, Shmi Skywalker, who haunts my thoughts tonight as I stare out over the night forest of Endor's moon. I miss her. But in some ways she is alive again, for I saw her spectre in my son's eyes, and heard it in his voice. It was a like physical blow.

Galaxy save me.

My son said, "I know there is good in you. The Emperor hasn't driven it from you fully. That was why you couldn't destroy me, that's why you won't bring me to your Emperor now."

He looked out into the forest spread out beneath the landing platform, his back to me. I ignited his light-sabre, its green glow filling the corridor. Smooth action, nice gyroscopic response. I always end up fiddling around with gadgets whenever somebody says something that makes me feel uncomfortable. "I see you have constructed a new light-sabre," I said, retracting the blade and turning the handle over in my hands. "Your skills are complete. Indeed you are powerful as the Emperor has foreseen."

I turned away then, my feelings threatening my composure and the stability of my left leg. I felt Luke's mind open to my own, reading my heart in a rush of communication I was too slow to interrupt. His thoughts were flavoured like mine, and my defenses could not discern them. His mind is mine.

"Come with me," he implored suddenly.

Through the fabric of the Force I could feel him reaching out to me, his hand open. It just about broke my heart. Only Shmi Skywalker knew love that pure, and I felt her spirit stir within him to my horror and shame. I took hold of the railing, fearing I would fall.

And then I felt the slithering tentacles of Darth Sidious' mind descend upon my consciousness...

Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic

OK so now that the final movie in the Star Wars Saga is complete what's Next? Many had speculated that now that the Prequels are finished that lucas would soon start on the sequals. The stories after the Star Wars Trilogy. The story of The New Jedi Academy Started By Luke and the trials and tribulations and dangers in training new Jedi. Personally I would love to see the stories used to make Knights of The Old Republic Video Game made into a movie. I felt that the depth and twists these stories had would make one of the best Star Wars series ever. As vieo Games go this is a great series. And also provide insight to how powerful Jedi really are, and just how easily a few wrong choices can start youn down the Dark Path.

I highly recommend the Video Game series and will elaborate on the games at a later time.

Star Wars Episode III- Revenge of The Sith

Many critics felt the first two movies were not dark enough, that they did not match the original Star Wars Trilogy. But they were missing the point. The Original Series focused on the Dark Times the times when the galactic Empire had already taken over and disbanded the crumbling republic. A time when only a small band of rebels were all that defied the Sith Emperor. The galaxy wasn't always dark however, and the first movies show how Palpatine manipulated the senate into giving him his executive powers. How he quickly gained ultimate control of the largest and deadliest Army force the universe had ever seen, and how he molded Anakin Skywalker into Darth Vader. The first movies are about how the dark times came to be. The rise of the evil empire. Therefore they had to start out light and happy before being plunged into the dark and turmoltous times.

This series is more like a Shakespearian Tragedy. The first chapter introduces us to the Tragic Hero "Anakin Skywalker" and sees him struggle and triumph. The Second Chapter sees him struggle and overcome more trials but also sees the forshadowing of his impending doom and his eventual fall from grace. And finally the Third Chapter sees our hero fall from grace and become destroyed by his own actions and choices in what to him seems like an unavoidable series of events. The only thing that gives one hope is that we have prior knowledge of how this tale will ultimately end. But this third chapter will end as a tragedy with Evil triumphing over Good. And finally the critics can see the darkness they have been searching for.

Episode III starts off with a very exiting and elaborate Staship battle over the planet of Curosant as Obi Won and Anakin attempt to rescue the Chancelor from General Grievious. The battle escalates as the Jedi enter the ship and confront hoards of Droids and enemy sith generals and troops. I'll say no more (in case you haven't seen the movie) But as the movie continues one can see the events becoming darker and darker. The movie cumulates in a scene where all the Jedi are being betrayed and slaughtered. This scene is reminiscent of the scenesin "The Godfather" Where he's in the church while all his enemies are getting whacked. I did feel that the Jedi's should have sensed a little more the betrayal as it was happening and perhaps had a longer battle for each one, but then again they would have had to "keep their mind on the now" as Qigon would say and not in the future while at battle.

In any case the critics complained that the first movies weren't dark enough, and now listen to them... they now complain that this movie ends too dark... It's supposed to be dark and feel hopeless. It seems like they are looking for any excuse to shoot Lucas down. Are the critics trying to destroy the Jedi? Are they the real Sith Lords?

Perhaps if they focused on what these movies have done for the overall story they would feel better about the movies. For instance: Episode One Episode Two and Episode Three all made it much clearer the strengths and capabilities of Jedi Masters. We saw Jedi Using their lightsabers as more than just instruments of death. We saw the use of Jedi Speed, we see them use foce wave which knocks nearby enemies back forcefully. We also saw the abilities of master Yoda, his strong lightsaber skills and his strength with the force. His ability to absorb force powers like lightning and force push and redirect them.
These movies make it clear what had been suspected from watching the original series. That Luke a Jedi who was strong with the force, but who lacked training and skills that jedi of the past had. Did they not teach him everything in fear that he'd also fall? But we also see that Luke is a very strong willed Jedi who can shrug off the appeal and the temptations of the darkside. He truely has the convictions of a Jedi and is willing to sacrifice himself for the good of others.

Through Episodes 1-3 we also see how entire batallions are sometimes no match for even a few Jedi. We also see the shortcomings of droids used as an army and see the tactical abilities of the clone Troops. And finally we see how the Sith are able to manipulate and influence events molding them to their will. These all give us great insite to the entire series and make our understanding and appreciation of the force much deeper and more satisfying.

While overall this movie ends in Darkness As it has too...We do get a small glimpse of hope when watching the end scenes... and we already know it will be OK eventually, though the jedi may never be the same, and there will be at least 10-20 years of darkness and oppression. 10-20 years before the rebelion can really start offering enough resistance to become a real threat to the empire. There are a few akward moments but overall this movie is a real exciting and well done movie with answers to Vaders fall from grace and the emperors rise to power.

Whether the critics embrace the darkside or not, with this film the series "is now complete".
