Jibbs Reaches Platinum Ringtone Sales With 'Chain Hang Low'Wednesday - October 25, 200615-year-old St. Louis rapper Jibbs is riding high on the success of his hit single, "Chain Hang Low," which has recently hit platinum sales with more than a million ringtones sold of the song before his album was released.Jibbs is only the second artist to ever go platinum with ringtone sales before a debut album release. He follows only Rick Ross in accomplishing that feat.The rapper, who's debut Jibbs Feat. Jibbs is out now, is gearing up to promote the new album via the upcoming Scream Tour starting November 22 in Miami, and ending on December 31 in Washington, DC. Jibbs will share the stage with Yung Joc, Omarion, Ne-Yo, Pretty Ricky, Sammie and One Chance.Jibbs will follow-up "Chain Hang Low" with the next single "King Kong."
